Before joining Merge, Jackson built experience across a wide range of industries, including hospitality, blue-collar work, sales, financial services, and insurance. That range of experience has given him an appreciation for the different challenges business owners face and an ability to communicate with people from all walks of life. His time as a business owner also shaped the way he approaches relationships today: listen first, understand what matters to the owner, and never lose sight of the years of work behind the business being sold.

Jackson also played college football, an experience that shaped his competitive mindset and taught him the importance of preparation, accountability, and working toward a shared goal. He brings that same mentality to Merge, approaching every opportunity with discipline and a willingness to put in the work required to get the right result for an owner.

Outside of work, Jackson’s entrepreneurial background and experience across industries keep him naturally curious about how businesses are built and what makes them successful.
